Morgan appeared alongside other actors in the informational film Safe Sex for Men and Women, which focuses on AIDS prevention as well as education. The proceeds were donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is a member of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the driving force in many fundraising campaigns to fight this disease. Morgan also gave a speech to the Congressional special committee on AIDS education. She is on the board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop asked her at times to take his place at AIDS occasions. She also hosted a AIDS Awareness Special alongside anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have appeared on Nightline twice to discuss AIDS. Morgan is nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially for Morgan. She co-starred in the ABC TV series Your Money or Your Wife alongside Joan Rivers. The summer was kicked off with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The show, Von Zerneck/Sertner also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. Morgan's next production sent Morgan to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady which also starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also played in the psychological thriller "The Leading Lady" produced exclusively by USA Network. This thriller received the highest ratings of all time for that network.
