Allana Ferguson bio

Allana first represented Australia at Rugby Sevens back in 2013. After suffering multiple knee injuries over many years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana played in her first union rugby game for women which was held by New South Wales as she stood out in that match against Queensland. Allana's career in radio has grown as she regularly appears with 2GB's Continuous Call Team, a top-rated show. In addition to her work in sport, Allana is also a qualified teacher. Allana Ferguson holds the rare distinction of representing Australia in three sports - rugby sevens along with touch and rugby league. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos football player who was in rugby league for many years but had to stop her career early because she injured her ACL for the fourth time. Ferguson has been in the sport for over 25 years. She had previously experienced tears in the same ligament at the age of 15, 17 and 20, and a 4th tear meant she was over. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker is required to quit early from the squad after suffering an ACL tear in the left side for the fourth time. Ferguson is the JILLAROOS' playmaker, announced the news to The Courier Mail this week after suffering an injury while training back in November.
