She was cast in Guiding Light, a CBS soap-opera on CBS from 1999 until 2000. She played Theresa Sandoval. Her first film appearance was in the role of Girl 6 in 1996. The actress then appeared in New York Undercover, and The District. Navedo appeared in Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001. The action drama Washington Heights was released the following year. Navedo played Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC series Law & Order from 2001 to 2004. Then, he appeared as Detective Ana Cordova in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo was in a variety of movies, such as El Cantante (The Cantante) as well as Remember Me. Navedo played recurring parts on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Make It in America Golden Boy and How to Make It in America Golden Boy between 2011 to 2013. Superfast! was her first film.
