Navedo launched her career as an actress in daytime television soap operas. From 1995 until 1997 she starred as Linda Soto on the ABC soap show One Life to Live. She was cast in Guiding Light, a CBS soap-opera on CBS from 1999 until 2000. She played Theresa Sandoval. Her first film appearance was in the role of Girl 6 in 1996. The actress then appeared in New York Undercover, and The District. Navedo appeared in Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001. The action drama Washington Heights was released the following year. Navedo played Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC series Law & Order from 2001 to 2004. Then, he appeared as Detective Ana Cordova in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo was in a variety of movies, such as El Cantante (The Cantante) as well as Remember Me. Navedo played recurring parts on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Make It in America Golden Boy and How to Make It in America Golden Boy between 2011 to 2013. Superfast! was her first film. The Fast and the Furious comedy released in 2015 was a parody of the Fast and the Furious series of movies. Navedo's career in the field began with daytime soaps.
