The actress became well-known for her character Fiona Gallagher in the first two seasons UK television series Shameless. The Virgin Queen (2006) saw her play queen Elizabeth as Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen, and she also played the main character in From Darkness (2015). Duff is famous for her performances as a character in Enigma (2002) The Magdalene Sisters French Film (2008) The Last Station Nowhere Boy BeforeI Go to sleep (2014), and Suffragette. The Virgin Queen, Shameless The Virgin Queen, Nowhere Boy Suffragette, The Last Station have earned her BAFTA nominations for Best Actress as well as Best Supporting Actress. The History of Mr Polly (2007) was her BAFTA Cymru Award winning performance as Best Actress. Anne-Marie Duff, an award-winning English actor, who is a juggernaut on stage has made her mark performing in theatres and radio films with great flair. The actress gained a lot of attention for her role as Fiona Gallagher in the British comedy-drama series Shameless as well as Queen Elizabeth I on the mini-series of television The Virgin Queen.
